As we bid farewell to another remarkable school year, I find myself filled with a profound sense of gratitude and admiration for our incredible scholars, families, and educators. The 2022-2023 academic year has been a testament to the indomitable spirit and unwavering determination of our community. On behalf of the entire Flint Community Schools team, I want to express my heartfelt appreciation for your dedication and support during this past school year.
Throughout the school year, our scholars have soared to new heights, embracing their potential and pursuing excellence with steady dedication. Their thirst for knowledge and passion for learning has served as an inspiration to us all. To our scholars, I want to express my admiration for your tenacity, creativity, and perseverance. You are the shining stars of our district, and we are immensely proud of your achievements.
None of our successes would have been possible without the constant support and partnership of our Flint families. Your trust, engagement, and active involvement in your child's education have been instrumental in their journey of growth. Learning occurs all year round and we encourage all families to continue keeping their children engaged during summer vacation. A reading schedule, educational games, summer camps, and study guides are all different tools to prevent learning loss while school is out of session. Feel empowered to reach out to your child’s teacher with additional tips or questions related to summer learning and keeping your child engaged while school is out. Our collaboration can foster lifelong learners in and out of the classroom.
To our graduating scholars, as you embark on a new chapter in your lives, know that the Flint Community Schools will always be your home.
